Experienced and well trained, these mace wielding Knights Brothers wear medium armour and prefer to fight on foot.
One Squire is granted to a brother Knight Templar along with three horses. He is to serve him like a page and if too young to fight hold his horses in Battle. But there are those who left the phase in one's life known as boyhood and enter the stage of manhood. Not recognized fully as brother Knights they first have to prove themselves in Battle. They are not granted a horse for it is easier to kill the enemies of Christendom from Horseback. Squires have to prove that they are worthy of being a member of the Order by serving as foot soldiers. Due to the fact that the brother Squires are descendants of noble blood they are equipped well, due to their status, mostly with mace and shield. They loge with other brother Knights, brother Sergeants and Turcopoles in the Commanderies of the Order of the Knights Templar in Outremer.
