Luchniki are excellent archers armed with an axe for close combat.
Luchniki (archers) formed an important part of all medieval Russian armies, including Kiev. Usually drawn from the ranks of younger men, the sons of the nobility could afford much better armour and weapons than their poorer counterparts. Luchniki can shower the enemy with a rain deadly arrows before engaging at close range with their hand axes.
